GridPay Terms of Use

GridPay is a fictional, roleplay‑only currency created for use within the GridPlay network in Second Life. It enhances roleplay experiences without requiring real‑world money. To ensure the system remains safe, fair, and compliant, the following Terms of Use apply.

  1. Roleplay‑Only Currency
    • GridPay (P$) has no real‑world monetary value and no Linden Dollar (L$) value.
    • P$ may only be used within Second Life as part of the GridPlay ecosystem.
  2. No Currency Exchange
    • You may not sell, trade, or exchange P$ for L$, real currency, or any other monetary system.
    • You may charge rent or sell items for P$ instead of L$.
    • GridPlay may integrate with other fictional currencies through an approved exchange system.
    • You may freely give or receive P$ as long as no real or virtual currency is exchanged in return.
    • There is no cash‑out option. P$ cannot and will not be converted into real‑world currency.
    • GridPlay Studios reserves the right to sell P$ for L$ at a rate of P$1.5 per L$1.
  3. Fair Use and Anti‑Cheating
    • Creating alternate accounts to obtain signup bonuses or unfair advantages is prohibited.
    • The GridPay system includes protections to prevent abuse and maintain fairness.
  4. No Begging or Solicitation
    • Please do not beg for P$ in public areas, private messages, or GridPlay‑related spaces.
  5. Limitation of Liability
    • GridPlay Studios Inc. is not responsible for any real‑world damages, losses, or disputes arising from the use of this fictional currency.
  6. Third‑Party Disclaimer
    • Linden Research, Inc. does not endorse, support, or manage the GridPay system.

Violating these Terms of Use may result in the removal of P$ from your account and/or suspension or termination of your GridPlay account. Attempts to sell P$ for L$ or any other currency may also be reported to Linden Research, Inc. By using GridPay, you also agree to GridPlay’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
